Junior Theatre Festival Auditions
are now closed.

Check out this brief slide show about JTF Atlanta if you are interested in learning more about JTF.

As Carolina Children's Theatre is approaching almost a decade of providing youth and family theater to our local community,
we are excited to announce that our CCT students will have a chance to show their growth, commitment, and talent
to a national audience!

CCT has been accepted to the Junior Theater Festival (JTF) taking place in Atlanta, GA from January 16-19, 2026!
JTF is the largest celebration of young people performing musical theater in the country with 6,000 attendees.

At JTF, students have the unique chance to perform in front of and receive feedback from theater professionals,
engage in singing, acting, and dancing workshops, see showcase performances of brand new shows and learn about the unique journeys and accomplishments of professionals in the theatrical industry from the professionals themselves.

Students will showcase their talents as a group by doing a 15-minute performance in front of a group of judges as well as a live audience. Judges not only score the overall performance of the group but may select students to perform in the All-Star show.
While we want to bring a top-notch performance to the stage, our goal is to further student's growth,
and keep the joy of the process for them as this is a higher intensity program.

We want to grow from our award-winning performance last year and are hoping to bring at least 15 students this year!
Students will need to attend workshops and rehearsals, learn music, dance and create characters in an ensemble environment.
We will finalize once auditions are complete. Much of our decision lies within our casting - a show that our cast is well-suited for.
It is our hope that JTF will challenge our CCT students' techniques, create new friendships and help each remarkable and extraordinary person soar to their goals onstage and off.

Students interested in auditioning for JTF must be able to commit to the rehearsal schedule.
Only (1) rehearsal may be missed.

Auditions are open to ages 8-18.
