We are so excited to be working on Newsies, Jr. -
a request I've had from so many of our CCT families to produce.
Synoposis:
Disney's Newsies JR. is a version of the 2012 Broadway musical, based on the 1992 film. Inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies JR. features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman and a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein.
When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys' expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what's right.
Including the now-classic songs "Carrying the Banner," "Seize the Day," and "Santa Fe," Newsies JR. is a timeless story full of spirit and heart.

Registration include:
* 75+ hours of drama, dance and vocal instruction for rehearsals and performances
costumes, scripts, music and dance rehearsal videos
* 4 Mainstage shows at the Fuquay Varina Arts Center
* 2 complimentary tickets to the show
* Audition experience & feedback if requested
* Meet & Greet before show starts
* Cast Party after last show and strike
* Show poster
* Show t-shirt
* Priceless memories and friendships
Registration does NOT include:
* Costume 'basics' (e.g., bike shorts, leggings, t-shirts, tanks tops)
items that must be brought from home to wear underneath costumes.
* Makeup and hair - we ask that parents do makeup and hair during rehearsal week and for performances.
We have volunteers to help anyone who needs it:) Please provide your own hair brush/comb and makeup.
* Dance shoes - jazz or character shoes
* Meals or snacks - except for the Meet & Greet and the Cast Party:)

July 18: 11-10pm (2 shows @ 1pm and 6pm followed by Strike and Cast/Crew party)
All 4 shows: 7/17 @ 1pm & 7pm and 7/18 @ 1pm & 6pm are at the Fuquay Varina Arts Center.
