Christina is the founder and Artistic Director of Carolina Children’s Theatre. She also has taught multiple drama, voice, design and improv classes in the Triangle area. She wrote, directed and produced CCT’s world premiers of Young King Arthur, The Tale of Troy, The Gingerbread Man, Aesop’s Fables and The Elves and the Shoemaker at the Holly Springs Cultural Center.
Past CCT productions include Peter Pan, Descendants, The Rainbow Fish, The Wizard of Oz, Around the World in 80 Days, Babes in Toyland, A Christmas Carol and The Snow Queen.
She is a singer, actress, writer, producer and director of numerous plays and has worked in New York, Australia and the UK. Some New York credits include script keeper for Terrence McNally’s Broadway hit, The Full Monty, and The Roundabout Theatre’s London Assurance with Rainn Wilson and Brian Bedford. She co-founded and was artistic director of Smatter Theatre Ensemble in Brooklyn and she co-wrote, directed and co-starred in the TriBeCa indy rock musical, Prom Queens. She was Artistic Director for Melbourne Writers’ Theatre’s production of MelBorn, a collection of 10 short plays written and directed by Australian artists. She was a free-lance writer for The Carolina Parent and The Independent Weekly. Above all else, however, she would be nowhere without her loving and supportive family - James, Leighton and Christopher- the lights of her life.
