Christopher studied Computer Science at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Since around the year 2000, he delved into the art of photography, using a then state-of-the-art Canon EOS D30. Merging a technical background of computer science and a desire to create some art was a great combination. In 2001, Christopher became a staff photographer for The Citadel and spent a decade covering sporting events of the school when they traveled anywhere in NC and also shooting many events at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Christopher’s photography was reborn in 2009 when he found the Strobist genera, which is small, portable off-camera flashes. Christopher ran a studio for many years in Fuquay-Varina and in Raleigh. Christopher also works along-side Smartshoot to photograph Food and Real Estate for clients like Yelp and Apartment Guide/Rent.com. Christopher also was one of the first photographers chosen to be a Google Trusted Photographer in 2012 and has extended Google StreetView into buildings and business establishments in many locations in and out of North Carolina since then.
