Great Greek Myths: The Tale of Troy
"Beware Greeks Bearing Gifts!"
This World Premier Production written by CCT's Artistic Director, Christina Cass Catton, is an adaptation of the classic greek myth with families in mind. Singing, dancing, sword fighting*, catapults and so much more (did someone say, "Giant Horse?")
bring the Fall of Troy to the stage at the Holly Springs Cultural Center.
It all started at a wedding on Mt. Olympus and a golden apple which flamed the jealousy of the great goddesses Hera, Aphrodite and Athena into asking a poor young mortal, Paris, to decide who was the fairest goddess of all...
His choice sparked the famous Trojan War and when the most beautiful mortal woman, Helen, fled her home in Sparta to be with Paris in Troy, not only the Greeks went to war, but the 12 Olympian gods, too!
By, Zeus! You won't want to miss it!
